Adding LocalBusiness JSON-LD to your site
JSON-LD sits in a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag and describes the page in the shared schema.org vocabulary. Search engines and AI answer engines read it to understand entities and relationships without guessing from layout. The markup must match what visitors can actually see on the page.

Which LocalBusiness fields does Google require?+
A name and an address. Everything else — phone, opening hours, price range, image — is recommended and makes the business easier to match to its Google Business Profile.
How do I write opening hours?+
Use two-letter day codes and 24-hour times: Mo-Fr 08:00-17:00. Add a separate line for each different range, for example Sa 09:00-13:00.
What is JSON-LD?+
JSON-LD (JavaScript Object Notation for Linked Data) is the format Google recommends for structured data. You put a small block of JSON in a script tag, using schema.org types, to tell search engines and AI answer engines exactly what a page is about — an article, a product, a business, an FAQ.
What is the difference between JSON-LD and JSON?+
JSON-LD is JSON with a few reserved keywords (@context, @type, @id) that tie the data to a shared vocabulary such as schema.org. Every JSON-LD document is valid JSON, but plain JSON has no @context, so a crawler cannot tell what your keys mean. The @context and @type lines are what turn your data into structured data.
Where do I put the JSON-LD code?+
Inside a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag, in either the <head> or the <body> of the page it describes. Google reads both. In a framework, render it server-side so crawlers get it without running JavaScript.
