Frequently asked questions
What metrics does AvocadoScore measure?
AvocadoScore provides comprehensive scanning across four key pillars: Performance (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse metrics), SEO (metadata, sitemaps, crawlability), Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 compliance via axe-core), and Security (HTTPS, CSP, HSTS, mixed content). Each scan generates 100+ data points with actionable recommendations.
How does the CI/CD integration work?
AvocadoScore provides a CLI tool and REST API that integrates with any CI/CD platform (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.). Set quality thresholds and the scan will fail your build if scores drop below your standards. You can also configure regression detection to block deployments that degrade performance or SEO metrics.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. You can scan unlimited URLs during your trial period and explore all enterprise features including API access, webhooks, and integrations.
Can I scan sites behind authentication?
Absolutely! AvocadoScore supports authenticated scanning through custom headers, cookies, and basic auth. You can also scan staging environments, password-protected sites, and sites behind VPNs. For enterprise customers, we offer IP whitelisting and secure credential storage.
How is AvocadoScore different from Lighthouse?
While Lighthouse is a great tool, AvocadoScore goes beyond by adding SEO crawling, site-wide scanning, historical tracking, CI/CD integration, team collaboration, issue prioritization, and automated alerting. We also include OWASP ZAP security scanning and advanced accessibility testing. Think of it as Lighthouse + comprehensive website QA platform.
What kind of support do you offer?
All plans include email support with 24-hour response times. Pro plans get priority support with video call options. Enterprise customers receive dedicated slack channels, custom SLAs, onboarding assistance, and a dedicated customer success manager.
